Kickstart September and keep those summer vibes
With the kids back at school, the silly season over, and the Devon beaches, lanes and moorland taking a breather from the summer visitors, September is typically a month of new goals and new challenges, which can increase the stress levels too.
Making sure you fuel your body right can help deal with getting back to work, kids going back to school, all the weekly activities starting back and the ever encroaching winter with its short days, and cold, damp weather.
At Bayards Kitchen, our healthy menus are filled with delicious and nutritious food, sourced locally and offering vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options too.
Start your day with a cooked breakfast, and if you order between 8.30am and 9.30am we’ll give you a free hot drink, to help start your day on a positive note.
There’s plenty to choose from. Fill yourself with fibre and opt for an organic porridge, served with a fruit compote and honey; tuck into a vegan breakfast with sausages, hash brown, grilled tomato, spinach, mushrooms, baked beans and sourdough; opt for eggs Benedict – a real favourite at Bayards Kitchen and so tasty. There’s much more, and if you’re at a breakfast meeting, there’s free WiFi too.
Lunch at Bayards Kitchen offers a variety of choices. There are jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings, wraps, freshly filled baguettes, paninis, super salads and pizzas and our favourites including a mezze board, homemade quiche, Bayards burger, halloumi and roasted Mediterranean vegetables and Elston Farm lamb koftas.
If you’re enjoying an amble around the shops, pop in for cake, or a Devonshire cream tea or our smoothie of the day.
Eat in, or enjoy the late summer sunshine in our garden.
Bayards Kitchen is also available for hire. Its raised area is a perfect platform, and we can seat up to 50 indoors.
